One of my favorite trips of last year was visiting Albania. We only had a week in Albania, which is a bit on the low side, but enough to get you hooked on visiting this beautiful country in the Balkans, but I’ve expanded this itinerary to include the best things to do in Albania with the help of friends. I include a complete itinerary for our trip to Albania, which was done entirely by bus besides one organized trip to Valbona. Imlil is not a place you find on a standard Morocco itinerary, however if you’re interested in going hiking in Morocco, you should visit Imlil. This village in the mountains is surrounded by Toubkal National Park is only a day trip from Marrakesh.

If you’re looking for something different after experiencing the desert, kasbahs, medinas, and maybe even a Moroccan spa, come hiking in Imlil to enjoy the fresh mountain air, laid back atmosphere, incredible views, and cute guesthouses. I loved the National Geographic movies about the ecosystems of the world as a child, so I always dreamed of visiting Borneo. However, Borneo is a huge island composed of three countries, so you need to decide where you’re going to go. I chose the amazing Malaysian province of Sabah due to its accessibility by budget airlines (AirAsia) and the Kinabatangan river for its amazing wildlife.

A square inch of land in Borneo is supposed to be more biodiverse than ANY other place on the planet.
